Skywarn Spotters reported that two to four inches of heavy rain fell in less than an hour and caused localized flooding of roadways over the urban areas of central and northern Tampa. Urban floodwaters, up to three feet deep, damaged several vehicles and made road travel impassable along portions of Nebraska Avenue between 11th and 30th Streets in central Tampa.
