A severe thunderstorm dropped nearly straight south from north-central Nebraska around midnight and moved across Dawson, Buffalo, and Phelps counties. While reports of hail were somewhat limited, a few areas did report hail to the size of golf balls.

A severe thunderstorm dropped nearly straight south from north-central Nebraska around midnight and moved across Dawson, Buffalo, and Phelps counties. While reports of hail were somewhat limited, a few areas did report hail to the size of golf balls. At Funk in eastern Phelps county, there were several reports of funnel clouds around 1 am. No tornadoes were reported.
