High Wind in Montana, January 3, 2000
Livingston had sustained winds as high as 62 mph as a low pressure center crossed Southern Alberta and combined with high pressure over Utah to produce a strong gradient over the Upper Yellowstone Valley. The winds diminished late in the afternoon as a cold front moved through South Central Montana.
