Thunderstorm winds blew down several trees, tree limbs and power lines in Galesburg. One tree fell onto an occupied truck, causing $1,000 in damage. There were no injuries. In Knoxville, at the county fair, a large tent was blown down.

Thunderstorm winds blew down several large trees. Also, numerous shingles were blown off of a garage 3 miles south of Laura.

Numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down throughout the town. One tree was struck by lightning, with one of the fallen branches striking a 16 year old female in the back. She was transported to the hospital with minor back pain, then released. Also, several of the trees and tree limbs that fell caused minor damage to numerous homes, especially to guttering.

Numerous trees, tree limbs, power poles and lines were blown down. In Mattoon, two empty semi-trailers were tipped over onto their sides. Also, one storage building lost some shingles.
