A moist frontal system moved into Idaho with overrunning snow covering much of the southwest portion of the state. This system dumped up to 38 inches of snow in the higher elevations of the Central Idaho Mountains. Most areas reported amounts ranging from 6 to 12 inches although a number of sites reported 12 to 18 inches of snowfall.
