Again gusty wind swept over the Indian Wells Valley area of eastern Kern County during the hours just after dawn with wind diminishing by mid-day. The Jawbone RAWS showed gusts to 47 MPH at 1353 PST and China Lake had steady wind of 40 MPH gusting to 47 MPH at 1356 PST.
