A strong storm system moved through the valley producing very heavy rainfall and resulted in street flooding and road closures. Phoenix Fire Department responded to four swift-water rescues. Flooding was reported around Indian Bend Wash. Seventy five flights at Sky Harbor Airport were delayed by the storms.
