A convergence zone just to the north of American Samoa coupled with a moist southwest flow aloft over the territory spread heavy showers over islands from Tuesday to Saturday. These occasional heavy showers caused widespread flooding of low lying areas and overflow most of the streams across the territory. Some are of mud and land slide were also reported by TEMCO.
