Easterly winds reached 69 mph at the Prince William Sound Science Center, probably occurring sometime midday Sunday, as a rapidly weakening low moved northwest by Middleton Island. Moderate pressure rises accompanied the northwest movement of this weakening low, reaching 6 mbs/3 hours at the Cordova airport during this event.
