Winter Storm in Wyoming, March 9 to 10, 1999
Surface low pressure just south of the Black Hills combined with an upper level short wave to create some areas of heavy snowfall. Snow wrapped around the storm system and left Northeastern Wyoming in a favorable position for upslope precipitation.

Snow wrapped around the storm system and left Northeastern Wyoming in a favorable position for upslope precipitation. Up to 10 inches of snow fell in some places across the region. Overall amounts were generally from 4 to 8 inches.
