A weak trough of low pressure moved across Vermont Sunday evening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed along and ahead of this trough. A bolt of lightning struck the ground very close to a lady in the Montpelier, Vermont area. She went to the hospital and was treated for associated injuries.
