A line of thunderstorms developed ahead of a slow moving cold front, and tracked across western and northern Missouri during the morning hours. These storms produced damaging winds and hail in sections of north central Missouri. During the late afternoon hours, another line of thunderstorms developed ahead of the same front, and produced damaging winds in west central Missouri as it moved eastward.
