Severe thunderstorm winds blew down trees and broke windows in the area from Schertz in Bexar County to near New Braunfels in Comal County and Cibolo and Geronimo in Guadalupe County. The severe winds destroyed roofs and blew down fences in the Cibolo area. They also knocked out power in the city of Schertz. The severe winds struck again in the evening over the northern part of Bexar County. An off-duty NWS employee reported trees blown down again in the Schertz area and the public reported trees uprooted and power lines down in the northwest part of Bexar County. Power was restored near midnight.
