Thunderstorms in the Paisano Pass area dumped heavy rains at a Baptist Summer Camp, where usually dry draws became running torrents and even came out of their banks to flood the campground. Over 1200 people were in the camp at the time of the event. Eight cabins were flooded by the high water and numerous cars were stranded in mud. Rainfall measured at the camp was 2.8 inches. The running water pushed debris into U.S. Highway 67/90 near the camp.
