A developing low pressure system in the upper atmosphere over Nevada intensified over the Great Basin region during the night. One disturbance from this upper low interacted with the moisture over the panhandles to allow thunderstorms to develop.

A developing low pressure system in the upper atmosphere over Nevada intensified over the Great Basin region during the night. One disturbance from this upper low interacted with the moisture over the panhandles to allow thunderstorms to develop. The severe thunderstorm over the southwestern Texas panhandle produced high winds which blew a metal house trailer about five feet and also lifted the roof off a well house.
