Flash Flood and Flooding in Texas, April 14 to 15, 1999
A low pressure system in the upper atmosphere over the southern Rockies and abundant low-level moisture combined to trigger heavy rain producing thunderstorms over the central and northeast Texas panhandle. Several roads and highways across Moore county were closed due to the flooding.

A low pressure system in the upper atmosphere over the southern Rockies and abundant low-level moisture combined to trigger heavy rain producing thunderstorms over the central and northeast Texas panhandle. Several roads and highways across Moore county were closed due to the flooding. The heavy rainfall caused Wolf Creek to overflow its banks from Lake Fryer in east-central Ochiltree county downstream to the Oklahoma state line. There were no reports of damage or injuries from the flooding.
