Flash Flood and Hail in Oklahoma, August 2, 1999
Scattered thunderstorms formed over portions of northern and western Oklahoma during the afternoon of the 2nd, producing isolated wind damage, large hail, and flooding. Near Waukomis in Garfield County, shingles were blown off of a building at the Pioneer School, and numerous tree limbs were downed.

Scattered thunderstorms formed over portions of northern and western Oklahoma during the afternoon of the 2nd, producing isolated wind damage, large hail, and flooding. Near Waukomis in Garfield County, shingles were blown off of a building at the Pioneer School, and numerous tree limbs were downed. An empty trailer was blown over and several large tree limbs were blown down in Ringwood in Major County, and large tree limbs were blown down in Okeene in Blaine County and 6 miles east of Waukomis in Garfield County. The only report of flooding came from Garfield County near Covington, where many roads were covered with water.
