The Polecat Creek at Sapulpa rose above its flood stage of 21 feet on the afternoon of April 25. The river crested at 27.2 feet at 700 PM CDT on April 26 before falling back below flood stage on the evening of April 27.The Polecat Creek at Jenks rose above its flood stage of 17 feet at 600 PM CDT on April 25. The river crested at 20.1 feet at 200 PM CDT on April 26 before falling back below flood stage on the evening of April 27.Rising floodwaters along the Polecat Creek caused evacuations in a subdivision in east Sapulpa and resulted in damage to two homes. Minor flooding was reported in Jenks. Several schools in Creek County were canceled due to lack of accessibility.
