The combination of locally heavy rainfall and ice jamming along a portion of the Cohocton River caused minor flooding from late in the evening on the 23rd into the early morning hours of the 24th. Water covered Savona-Campbell Road for a time, but no homes were threatened. Waters began to recede back within their banks well after midnight and Savona-Campbell Road was reopened.
