An isolated severe thunderstorm downed two small trees in Rindge, and downed wires in Marlborough. Lightning from another storm struck the roof of an apartment building in Manchester, creating a two-alarm fire. Other lightning strikes in Hillsborough County resulted in scattered power outages, mostly in the towns of Bedford and Merrimack. About 600 customers lost power.
