Thomas County EMA reported up to 10 inches of water covered numerous streets and roads in Thomasville as slow-moving thunderstorms produced up to 8 inches of rain between 7 am and noon. Seven homes on Passmore St had up to six inches of water inside and six families were placed in a Red Cross temporary emergency shelter.
