Flash Flood, Nye

Where: Nye County, Pahrump
Reported by: LAW ENFORCEMENT
Coordinates: 38.042, -116.472 (the zone’s center; the record gives no point)

Flash flooding closed several roads around the Pahrump Valley from mid to late morning. The Nye County Sheriff's Office reported water blocking State Route 160 as early as 8:45 a.m. PDT and other secondary roads were covered with three to four feet of water before the runoff began receding around noon PDT. No serious property damage was reported.
