Heavy rains from thunderstorms flooded four apartments in Cathedral City with 3 inches of water, and streets and sidewalks in Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage with several inches to two feet of water. Lightning also caused power outages to over 10,000 customers throughout the Coachella Valley.
