A vigorous upper level storm system raced from the Northern Rockies into the Midwest bringing snow to the region. Accumulations ranged from 1 to 3 inches.

A vigorous upper level storm system raced from the Northern Rockies into the Midwest bringing snow to the region. Accumulations ranged from 1 to 3 inches. An arctic front swept across the region during the overnight.Strong north winds produced some blowing and drifting of snow, and dangerously cold wind chills of 15 to 30 below zero.
