High pressure near Bermuda brought a southwest flow of hot and humid air to Massachusetts. At Logan International Airport in Boston, the high temperature of 97 degrees broke the previous record high of 92 degrees, which was set in 1925.

At Logan International Airport in Boston, the high temperature of 97 degrees broke the previous record high of 92 degrees, which was set in 1925. At the Blue Hills Observatory in Milton, the high temperature of 93 degrees broke the previous record high of 93 degrees, which was also set in 1925.
