Thunderstorms moved through the Webster County area. Though they were not severe, Lightning struck a tree just outside of the the American Legion Post in Fort Dodge. A branch fell into the building breaking a large double pane window and damaged the frame around the window. Replacement costs were estimated around $3,000.
