Coordinates: 38.022, -87.868 (the zone’s center; the record gives no point)

Two storm systems, one on the 5th and 6th and the other on the 8th and 9th, produced a total rainfall of 1 to 2 inches. This was sufficient to push the Wabash River slightly above flood stage at New Harmony. The river crested less than 6 inches above flood stage, which produced only minor overflow into agricultural bottomlands.
