An early morning microburst caused damage in the Granite City/Wood River areas. Most of the damage occurred at a marine dealership in Granite City. The roof was torn off, windows broken and a two story brick storage building was also destroyed. Damage was estimated at $500,000. Trees and power lines were also downed across the area.
