A thunderstorm brought intense rainfall and flash flooding to the city of Pocatello. Accumulation of 1.5 to 1.7 inches were reported for downtown Pocatello, with the suburbs reporting from 0.80 to 2.75 inches. Streets, underpasses and basements were flooded in downtown Pocatello. Some vehicles were stalled trying to drive through water up to a foot deep on city streets. Some 2000 residents suffered power outages for several hours.
