Declared a Local State of Emergency and a ban on fireworks and open burning. Reported a two (2) acre grass fire that is out of control and has engulfed one mobile home that was vacant.
Reports fighting two fires, both have blown up and one has jumped Hwy 19S approximately 4 mile south of Palatka estimated at over 1000 acres. 200 structures were reported evacuated, they have exhausted all county resources. They are requesting air assets immediately. A shelter has been opened at the Price Martin Community Center.
