A strong low pressure system, which passed about 200 miles southeast of Cape Cod, brought heavy snow to Tolland and Windham Counties. 5 inches reported in East Killingly.

A strong low pressure system, which passed about 200 miles southeast of Cape Cod, brought heavy snow to Tolland and Windham Counties. Snowfall amounts generally ranged from 6 to 10 inches, with as much as 10.5 inches reported in East Killingly. There were no reports of damage or significant impact from this storm.
