Damaging thunderstorm winds developed between Bennett to near Strasburg. High winds blew half a metal roof off a shed in a Bennett lumberyard. A small barn was also levelled between Bennett and Strasburg.

Strong winds and large hail flattened crops, causing substantial damage. The areal extent of the damage occurred along a 5 mile stretch along U.S. Highway 36 and extended north and south of the highway for 2 miles. In addition to the crop damage, some windows were blown out near Lindon.
