A moist westerly flow produced 8 to 12 inches of snow in some mountain areas of northwest and west-central Colorado. Some heavier amounts included 14 inches at Cooper Ski Area and 13 inches at Beaver Creek Ski Area. Winds up to the 40 to 50 MPH range produced areas of blowing and drifting snow.
