Heavy rain accompaning a slow moving thunderstorm caused rock slides along County Highway S3 south of Borrego Springs, and the San felipe Creek to flood and overflow over Highway 78 between S3 and Borrego Springs road. Pea size hail and wind gusts to 50 mph were also reported by spotters.
