Nearby thunderstorm activity along the Southern Sierra Nevada foothills spawned a gust front over the Fresno County East portion of the San Joaquin Valley floor in the vicinity of Sanger during the afternoon hours of the 13th. While no specific ag damage was listed by the Ag Commissioner, there were reports of downed tree limbs and downed fruit from gusty wind. The reported wind from the east at 26 MPH was measured at the Fresno Air Terminal which was 8 miles northwest of the Sanger area.
