Thunderstorms moved slowly northwest across the area causing flooding in the communities of Moonridge, Sugarloaf, and Big Bear City. Spotters reported over 1.57 inches of rain in 20 minutes. Ten homes and a church were flooded. A land slide piled lumber, debris, and 2 feet of mud against an apartment complex located 150 feet below the Big Bear Mountain Ski resort.
