Up to 2 feet of snow accumulated across Northern Sierra Nevada ski resorts while 2 1/2 feet accumulated at Mount Shasta. The heavy snow was responsible for the temporary closure of Interstate 80 and Highway 50 on the afternoon of 02/08/99.
