Another 10 inches of snow was recorded in the Thompson Pass area between midnight and 7:30 am Monday. Total snowfall during the weekend included 33 inches at Valdez and a whopping 57 inches in Thompson Pass.
Deaths and injuries are direct and indirect together, as the offices filed them. Damage is property and crops in the dollars of the year, not adjusted for inflation, and only where an office estimated it.

Total snowfall during the weekend included 33 inches at Valdez and a whopping 57 inches in Thompson Pass. About 35 miles north of the Pass, 24 inches of new snow was reported in a 24 hour period.In the Copper River Basin, local snowfall amounts from 6 to 20 inches were reported along the Richardson Highway south of Copper Center and around Chitna (greatest amount).
