Heavy rains with slow moving thunderstorm dropped over 3 inches of rain on Tuscaloosa, Northport, and the surrounding area. Numerous streets were flooded. Most of the flooding was confined to roads creating an inconvenience more than anything else. Several cars were flooded out by the flash flooding in the Tuscaloosa and Northport.
