Heavy rainfall on the 7th resulted in minor flooding on portions of the James and Maury Rivers. The James River crested almost two and a half feet above flood stage at Lick Run at 1900 EST on the 8th and almost 3 feet above flood stage at Buchanan 0220 EST on the 9th.

Heavy rainfall on the 7th resulted in minor flooding on portions of the James and Maury Rivers. The James River crested almost two and a half feet above flood stage at Lick Run at 1900 EST on the 8th and almost 3 feet above flood stage at Buchanan 0220 EST on the 9th. The Maury River crested around one and a half feet above flood stage at Rockbridge Baths at 1715 EST on the 8th.
