From January 8 to January 10, the Battenkill in Bennington County flooded, due to a combination of significant rain and snowmelt. The river rose over 8 feet at the new Arlington gage with substantial flooding reported. Flood stage has not been established yet at Arlington. The main impact from the flood waters was extensive flooding of fields and roadways. Route 7A north of Arlington was closed due to flooding.
