A strong low pressure system in the upper atmosphere moved southeast across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles ushering in much colder and more moist air into the extreme northern Texas Panhandle. Snowfall totals ranged from four to eight inches across Lipscomb and Dallam counties to between eight and tweleve inches across Hansford county.
