A large dust devil took a 30 x 40 foot corrugated metal roof covering off a church building in Odessa. When the metal was cast into the air it became entangled with and took down utility lines along a two block area. The roof and lines landed in a busy University Blvd. where five cars were scratched by the roof. The event was about 3 miles west of downtown.
