Strong gradient winds damaged blew down a large awning on the front of a business in Iraan.
Strong gradient winds ripped off corrugated metal sections of an old lumber yard storage building in Pecos. The debris blew out into a city street requiring its closure until the winds subsided enough to safely remove the metal sheets. The peak wind at the Pecos Airport was 45 mph a couple of hours before the event. The possibility of a dust devil exists judging from the timing of the event and only moderate winds in the area.
