An intensifying low pressure system moved northeast across southern New England on Thanksgiving Day. All of Rhode Island experienced gusty winds from this storm system, but the strongest winds occurred across the southern half of the state.

An intensifying low pressure system moved northeast across southern New England on Thanksgiving Day. All of Rhode Island experienced gusty winds from this storm system, but the strongest winds occurred across the southern half of the state. The peak wind gust at T.F. Green Airport in West Warwick was 43 MPH.
