An F1 tornado touched down about 3 miles southeast of McEwensville, or 3 miles east of Milton. The storm moved southeast across farmland, taking down trees, ripping parts of roofs from two barns, and puncturing a tree limb through the wall of a farm house. Eyewitnesses told of the onset of rain, then heavy rain, followed by hail the size of a dime to quarter size, and then the strong winds.
