A hot weekend on June 20th and 21st caused the first heat related death within the City of Philadelphia as a 73-year-old man died. The windows of his home were completely shut with no air conditioning. The high temperatures on both the 20th and 21st reached 92 degrees and were the first two dates in the month of June to have high temperatures of 90 degrees or higher.
