Three to six inches of snow fell in in the lower elevations and up to a foot of snow fell in the Cascade Mountain passes. These conditions caused a ten mile traffic jam at Santiam Pass. Many vehicles had slid off the road, rolled over, spun out or crashed. No serious injuries were reported.
