Heavy thunderstorm rain of three to four inches in four hours caused flooding of basements, roads, small streams and low lying areas. Several roads and bridges were damaged by the high water and trees that had washed onto the roadways. Black Creek was out of its banks, flooding streets and yards in the town of Glenmont where six to eight homes were evacuated. Mudslides were reported in Richland Township just west of Glenmont.
