Lake effect snow in Ashtabula County accumulated to 20 inches from Jefferson to Williamsfield, with about eight inches at the lakeshore between Geneva and the city of Ashtabula. The heavy snow also extended into Northeast Trumbull County and accumulated up to ten inches.

Lake effect snow in Ashtabula County accumulated to 20 inches from Jefferson to Williamsfield, with about eight inches at the lakeshore between Geneva and the city of Ashtabula. The heavy snow also extended into Northeast Trumbull County and accumulated up to ten inches. The snow fell at a rate of two to three inches per hour for several hours. Road crews were unable to keep pace, making some roads nearly impassable during the early morning hours of the 30th.
